In the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, the foundations of the current national states had been re-established.
Italy nevertheless remained a conglomerate of city-states, where the aristocracy was composed mainly by families of great merchants.
In this scenario, commercial wars could not be missed between all these new republic cities.
This Italian Knight, wears the typical mesh shirt, uses a large helmet to protect his head and protects legs and torso with a breastplate and bronze greaves embossed of clear Byzantine influence.
