The basic color of the Spanish uniforms of the time, and until initiated the Napoleonic wars, was the target. The difference between regiments appeared in the different colors of necks, turned cuffs and calzones. In the case of the Navarre regiment, its badge color was red, which appears on the neck, on the cuffs, on the vest and trousers, while the turns of the coat remain white. Being their buttons of gold bronze, the gallons of degree and the hat of three peaks, were yellow. If the buttons were made of silvery tin, as is the case of the Louisiana fix, the gallon of the hat, would be white thread.
