Since the Boers' war, the British army abandoned their gaudy red coats to adopt the Kakhis uniforms that helped the troop confuse itself with the terrain and kept the soldier from becoming a perfect target for enemy shooters. This soldier, in uniform of campaign and march, dresses the complete uniform with stripes (putes), canvas belt with porta portaadores, crossed in the back type Mills, that later would be also adopted by the Spanish legion. He wears the plate cap characteristic of the early years of the Great War and is armed with the Lee-Enfield rifle.
