This soldier wears the regulation uniform established during the French Revolution.
Its court is practically the same as those used during the old regime, but with the characteristic blue frock coat of the postrevolutionary army.
This was the appearance of Napoleon's soldiers before he became Emperor, during his time as First Consul.
