Figure dedicated to a soldier of the militias of Spanish phalange during the civil war of 1936-39.

It shows the typical blue gorilla of cut identical to the one used by the regular army, call "isabelino".

It is armed with a "Máuser" rifle of Spanish manufacture and it uses pants of type leggins, also of general use in the Spanish army.

During the first days of the war, the voluntary units, both falangistas and requetés, made it so fashionable for the socks to cover the bottom of the trousers, probably in imitation of the Italian volunteer troops.

Wear the characteristic blue phalange shirt with the yoke emblem and the embroidered arrows in the left pocket.

The phalanx units proved to be quite effective in combat due to the high motivation and discipline of its members.

The figure is part of a group that recreates the canvas of the painter "Augusto Ferrer Dalmau", representing the height of the Lions in the Sierra de Guadarrama, during the first months of the conflict.
