Historical 1/30 scale (60 mm) figure depicting a Spanish Marine Infantry grenadier during the defence of Cartagena de Indias in 1741, one of the most notable episodes in 18th-century Spanish military history.

Spanish Marine Infantry took part in the defence of Cartagena against the major British expedition during the War of Jenkins' Ear, fighting alongside the other Spanish forces responsible for defending the city and its fortifications.

This miniature forms part of the Cartagena de Indias 1741 collection, dedicated to the historical figures and military units involved in the defence of the city under the command of Blas de Lezo.
