Zaragoza regiment
The Zaragoza infantry regiment was born as a military unit in 1579. Under the command of the field master, Don Gabriel Niño de Zúñiga, for which he was known as Tercio de Niño, a name that changed at the end of the 16th century, by the third Lisbon.
At the end of the 18th century, it received its name by the Zaragoza infantry regiment, since the city council of this city ran with the expenses of its reorganization.
