Throughout the War of Independence, the Spanish infantry underwent several changes in its uniform. The one shown by our figures, was used safely in Medina de Rioseco and Bailén. The shortage of supplies, wear and tear caused the appearance of these soldiers to vary considerably during the course of the war.
