GW 028 South Wales Borderers officer

This officer of the South Wales Border Regiment, wears the standard uniform of the British Army, wearing beige breeches and beaded leather leggings buckled with laces. It is typical of the English officers the use of the cane as indicative of its rank, similar to the old Roman centurions. His warrior, unlike that of the troop, who wears it buttoned to the neck, is open and with lapels in the style of the civil jackets, combined with the use of shirt and tie. The troop wore light-blue collarless shirts.
