PR 028 – Wounded Roman Legionary
This Roman toy soldier depicts a legionary struck down in battle, in a dramatic scene evoking the harsh realities of warfare in Antiquity.
The soldier lies wounded on the ground, unable to continue fighting. Beside him rests his characteristic rectangular Roman shield (scutum), decorated with ornamental motifs and the imperial eagle emblem.
His military clothing and equipment identify him as a member of the Roman legions. His fallen position and discarded shield capture a dramatic moment in the aftermath of battle.
An interesting addition for Roman toy soldier collectors and enthusiasts of historical military miniatures.
Rome Collection. Handcrafted by Kronprinz Toy Soldiers in Spain.
